The SRS-EPDM Series Co-Extruded Edge Seal and Gasket System provides high-integrity pneumatic sealing engineered specifically for mission-critical IT infrastructure, modular enclosures, and NEMA/IP-rated electrical cabinets.

Engineered with a dual-durometer co-extrusion profile, each seal integrates a flexible dense EPDM U-channel edge grip (65-75 Shore A) reinforced with an internal segmented steel carrier or steel wire spring clip, vulcanized alongside a high-rebound closed-cell EPDM sponge rubber bulb (20-30 Shore A). This composite construction delivers extreme gripping force on sheet metal edges without adhesives, while the sponge bulb compresses effortlessly to form an airtight, dustproof barrier under minimal door closure latch torque.

Formulated to resist severe thermal cycling (-40°C to +120°C), atmospheric ozone degradation, UV exposure, and continuous mechanical compression fatigue. The closed-cell microcellular elastomeric structure prevents moisture ingress, mitigates acoustic fan resonance, and dampens structural vibrations transmitted across high-density 19-inch equipment racks.

Available in multiple standardized bulb configurations—including side-bulb, top-bulb, dual-fin wiper, and U-channel edge protector geometries—to accommodate sheet metal flange thicknesses from 1.0 mm to 4.5 mm, ensuring universal compatibility across enterprise server cabinets, telecommunication outdoor shelters, and industrial switchgear.
