Southwire 22973201 Building Wire, 10 AWG, 1 Conductor, Black, 500 ft Spool, Stranded THHN/THWN-2, Nylon/PVC
Premium Southwire 10 AWG single-conductor stranded copper building wire. Dual-rated THHN / THWN-2 with flame-retardant PVC insulation and tough polyamide nylon outer jacket. 600V rated, 90°C dry/wet.
Southwire Engineering & Technical Overview
Southwire copper building wire type THHN / THWN-2 conductors are primarily used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial, industrial, and institutional construction.
Manufactured with annealed bare copper conductors, stranded for increased flexibility during installation through tight conduit bends. The conductor is insulated with high-grade, heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) over which a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon jacket is extruded.
Complies with UL Standard 83, UL Standard 1063 (MTW), Federal Specification A-A-59544, and National Electrical Code (NEC) NFPA 70. Distributed in Singapore via SRE Pte. Ltd. for MRO and project installations.
